Our Founder

Sophia Jeffrie is the Founder and Executive Director of Wisdom Truths, a ministry dedicated to leadership training, personal growth, and global outreach. With over a decade of ministry experience, she passionately serves the Lord, empowering individuals through faith-based teaching and mentorship.

Born in Sumter, South Carolina, Sophia accepted Jesus Christ at the age of 12 and has remained steadfast in her faith ever since. A retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, she has led, trained, and ministered to thousands of Sailors, instilling discipline, resilience, and spiritual growth. In 2009, God revealed her purpose while serving at the Florida Youth Challenge Academy, inspiring the creation of Wisdom Truths, a transformational workshop for at-risk youth.

Sophia holds a Master of Arts in Ministry from Luther Rice College & Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education from Southern Illinois University. Her ministry has taken her across the globe—including Honduras, Kenya, Asia, and South Africa—as she fulfills the Great Commission. She also serves as the Outreach Ministry Leader at Wise Choice Ministries, spreading God’s love with enthusiasm and conviction.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Sophia resides in Green Cove Springs, Florida, where she continues her mission to transform lives through God’s Wisdom in His Truths.

Our History

Wisdom Truths began in 2010 as a Bible study group dedicated to enhancing the spiritual growth of at-risk youth. However, through divine guidance, God entrusted Sophia with a greater vision—transforming Wisdom Truths into a personal growth and development workshop designed to equip young people with the skills and mindset needed to become successful and productive citizens. Through these workshops, countless lives were changed, instilling renewed hope, purpose, and self-worth in those who once felt lost.

In 2018, God expanded this vision, calling Sophia to empower not only youth but also women and children in vulnerable situations. Wisdom Truths evolved into a ministry committed to providing spiritual and material support where it is needed most. Through strong partnerships with frontline leaders, missionaries, and anti-trafficking organizations, we actively participate in training and programs that bring hope, healing, and restoration to rescued women and children.

Today, Wisdom Truths is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that continues to grow through collaboration with mission-driven organizations. Together, we serve as a beacon of faith, love, and transformation—ensuring that individuals in need receive the guidance, support, and empowerment necessary to build a brighter future.
